The basis of this process is the formation and dissemination of new models of work, including in the activities of the prosecutor's office. The article considers the issue of using information systems in the activities of the prosecutor's office, namely the state automated system of legal statistics (hereinafter referred to as GAS PS), the transition to electronic document management. The current problematic aspects of the opportunities provided by the GAS PS as a tool for non-supervisory activities of the prosecutor's office are named, and specific proposals for their solution are given. The author concluded that the issues of optimising approaches to the use of the GAS PS in prosecutorial activities are topical, which can qualitatively increase the efficiency of fulfilling the tasks and achieving the goals of the prosecutor's office, arising from the requirements of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and enshrined in the relating Federal Law of the Russian Federation.
