- Annotation: The creative life of the outstanding writer Vladimir Grigor’yevich Kornilov is described in the article. The author’s reminiscences of Vladimir Kornilov, the former’s impressions of this person form the basis of the feature article; Vladimir Kornilov’s contribution to the formation and development of Kostroma writers’ organisation is noted as well as his attention and painstaking work with novice writers. Courage, realism and writing skills of Vladimir Kornilov are emphasised in particular. It is mentioned in the article about Vladimir Kornilov’s awards, about his achievements in the field of literature and social activities; warm memories of people who knew Vladimir Kornilov, are cited.
