- Annotation: For a half of century the entrepreneurial activities of the Wallenberg group have largely determined Swedish economy direction. From one of the largest family of successful financiers the Wallenbergs have gradually become one of the most influential dynasty in the modern world economy. Today one of the major international banks – ‟Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken” (SEB) – and the investment holding ‟Investor” are at the centre of their sphere of business interests. ‟Investor” is the key tool for managing Wallenberg family assets, represented in the most of modern economy sectors. This company owns shares in SKF, ABB, Atlas Copco, AstraZeneca, Electrolux, Ericsson, Husqvarna AB, NASDAQ, Saab AB, Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, SAS, and a number of others. In 2021 the market value of ‟Investor” has exceeded 400 billion SEK (€ 40+ billion, $ 50+ billion).
